Project Spotlight: Circuit Upgrades for Glendale Fabrication Shop

We wanted to share a commercial electrical project we recently completed in Glendale, AZ for a local manufacturing business that fabricates dryer tubes for car washes. The client was expanding their equipment setup and needed new dedicated circuits, updated conduit runs, and panel work to safely power up several high-demand machines.

We started out with a thorough assessment of the existing electrical panel. After confirming available capacity and City of Glendale code compliance, we added a couple of new circuits—each sized appropriately for the equipment’s load requirements. With machinery like this, dedicated circuits aren’t optional—they're a must have to prevent overloads, nuisance tripping, and ensure everything runs efficiently and safely.

From the panel, we ran new conduit up and along the interior walls, routing it cleanly and securely to each piece of equipment. Conduit work might not always get the spotlight, but neat, strategic runs are a mark of quality and safety in any industrial setting.

This job powered up several major machines:

•    A shearer machine – used to precisely cut sheet metal to size.

•    A roller – for shaping the tubes.

•    An air compressor – supplying pneumatic power.

•    A welder – for joining and reinforcing the metal components.

Each piece of equipment required thoughtful planning—not just in amperage and breaker sizing, but in coordination with the customer’s workflow. We made sure our runs wouldn’t interfere with day-to-day operations, while still being accessible for future maintenance.
